The Role

The Housing & Communities department makes a difference to our residents every day, and no two days are the same. As a Housing Assistant you’ll be the first point of contact for our residents, helping with a range of enquires and assisting tenants who want to be rehoused. You’ll be resolving queries over the phone, helping residents face to face at our reception, and assisting the Housing and ASB Officers with a range of tasks.

• Deliver excellent, reputation-enhancing customer service at all times
• Assist residents with a wide range of housing related enquiries
• Provide administrative support, including responding to emails and letters

• Solid administrative experience in a customer-facing team
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Educated to GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
• Flexible, can-do approach to colleagues and customers

We require staff to work 36 hours per week 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday.  We will consider part time applicants.
